An excellent 18th century French ebonized two-drawer commode with sumptuous brass hardware—radial pulls and stylized key-hole covers, with cabriole legs. Superb ebony color with light wear evident throughout, showcasing the depth of wood color beneath the ebonizing, and visible in the drawer interiors; serpentine shaped top.
