The Beauty of Hand-Glazed Ceramics

Due to the handcrafted nature of each ceramic lamp and natural reactions within the kiln, no two forms or glazes are exactly alike. Each lamp is a unique work, and slight variations in size and glaze from piece to piece are expected and embraced.

We do our best to make sure that multiple lamps in a single order are as similar as possible.

Our gilded bases continue the tradition of applying gold or silver leaf atop a warm layer of reddish clay bole. Red will peek through the gilding in some instances, adding warmth to the overall finish.

The lighting in any room creates a strong impression. Lighting must come from several sources in a room. Sometimes we want to create a mood, and other times we need all the light we can get.
