Our Rope dining chair is inspired by the Napoleon III craze for this beautiful style of carving, later revived in the twentieth century by the French upholsterer Fournier. Our twenty-first century version is available in four finishes and features rope-style carving across the back frame, seat and the legs which twist into a knot just above the foot.
