DESCRIPTION

Outstanding set of ten striking depictions of French landscape vignettes across the daylight hours and seasons from the 1960s and 70s in pastel; from an early morning copse to a late in the day (and summer) tree alongside a waterside house, to a mountainside village surrounded by foliage. All framed in matching straight-grained, oak frames. Drawings are finished with a pastel outline and float above the white mat. Signed “Touraine”.
