The influence of traditional Jun ware can be seen in the midnight blue glaze of our Small Speckled Lamp. Dotted with small white spots, a thick blue glaze smoothly covers the lamp’s gently faceted double-ground shape, which sits atop a smooth gold base.

Additional Information

• Due to the handcrafted nature of each ceramic lamp and natural reactions within the kiln, no two forms or glazes are exactly alike. Each lamp is a unique work, and slight variations in size and glaze from piece to piece are expected and embraced. We do our best to make sure that multiple lamps in a single order are as similar as possible.
• Our gilded bases continue the tradition of applying gold or silver leaf atop a warm layer of reddish clay bole. Red will peek through the gilding in some instances, adding warmth to the overall finish.
