What do you call a waist-height table with three shelves?

Well, many things! You could call it a Bar, with lots of storage for bourbon, bitters, and all the necessary bits for mixing a drink or three. But you might also call it a Butler’s Pantry (what mortals would term a Server) and let it hold extra dishes and cutlery alongside dinner. Others might call it a Music Table, ideal for holding your record player on top and records below. And certainly you’d not be mistaken for calling it an Occasional Table (a polite euphemism for Office table around here): dreamy when crowned with a legion of decorative objet or all your reference papers. We like to think any table can be an occasional table if you put your mind to it, but we digress. You might need two of these, as you can see its quite a useful table, whatever you call it.
