Commissioned by Bunny and painted by Bob Christian, Afternoon in the Garden is printed on linen canvas with hand-applied paint for added depth. An ode to the pleasures of a well-tended garden, the composition captures a tranquil afternoon among some of Bunny’s favorite elements: a parterre garden with wattle fencing, a vintage wheelbarrow, playful pups, and a potted primula auricula. Inspired by an antique panel that hangs in Bunny’s own screened porch, this piece is exclusive to Bunny Williams Home. It is available with or without a simple wire-brushed wood frame with a gilded edge.

About the Artist: Bob Christian

A nationally known artist and ICAA Winner of The 2020 Arthur Ross Award for Excellence in Fine Arts, Bob Christian is an experienced interior painter, specializing in hand painted texture and patina. Also a dear friend of Bunny’s, they have collaborated for many years on various decorative painting projects for both her personal homes and client projects.
