Bamboo Desk - Birdseye Maple (60")

$3,900

The Belle Epoque craze for all things inspired by Japan found expression in a multitude of faux bamboo furniture and furnishings. Our new Bamboo desk, designed as a cousin to our Bamboo bed and chest, relating but not mimicking their designs, has a contemporary take on this tradition, with a clover-cornered top that rests on tight reeds turned over bamboo shaped legs atop onion form feet. The attenuated drawer box is perfect for paper and pens, or cards and chips.

I like to mix different textures and pieces of furniture because I think they stand out. They don't just smoosh together into one big brown or one big white room.
