This set of early 19th century Swedish Gustavian dining chairs were originally custom made for an affluent Swedish family with two young daughters. The set of 8 consists of 6 adult size chairs, and 2 child size chairs which all feature carved backs, squared, tapered front legs, splayed back legs, and lower stretchers. The aged, grey-white painted finish is a hallmark of Gustavian antiques that will pair with any upholstery fabric of your choice. Currently unupholstered and sold as is.
