Our Made-to-Order Upholstery Guide

Our custom upholstery pieces are crafted in North Carolina—the heart of American upholstery tradition. Every upholstery piece begins with a kiln-dried solid maple frame, reinforced for superior strength and stability. Many of our designs feature eight-way hand-tied coil spring suspension—a hallmark of fine craftsmanship. Your choice of fabric, leg finish, and nailhead finish are then applied.

You can't look at sofas, tables and chairs in isolation: you have to look at them in relation to all the other furniture in the room if you are going to create spaces that are balanced, nuanced, and harmonious.
